Summary: The myth, the man, the legend...the reality.
Albus froze. His heart raced in excitement, but his limbs seemed leaden, and he couldn't move.
Scorpius was not suffering the same odd effects, however. He smiled brightly and doffed his hat. "Santa," he said, "it is an honor to meet you again, sir."
Albus slowly turned around, and he found himself face to face with old Saint Nick. Albus blinked. "S-Santa?" he stammered.
"Albus, my boy, how good to see you," said Santa Claus. "How is your father these days? I do hope you take after him, rather than your trouble-making grandfather." He smiled at Al, eyes twinkling merrily.
Scorpius nudged Albus. "Take off your hat," he whispered.
Albus belatedly removed his hat and twisted it in nervous fingers.
"What brings you two rapscallions to the North Pole?" asked Santa.
Scorpius stepped up and sketched a small bow. "We've come to ask a favor," he said.
