hp_coffeehouse Prompt No. 68 -
drinks and donutSummary: Harry may never get his pants back.
After a restless night that not even a wank could salvage, Harry dragged himself out of bed early. He rubbed one out in the shower while fantasizing about peeling his pants off of Malfoy, that pilfering pillock.
Once he was dry and more relaxed, Harry stumbled into his kitchen while trying to avoid stepping on Panini. He fed the kitten, fixed a cup of coffee, and treated himself to one of Malfoy's fairy cakes for breakfast.
Harry took a bite of the fairy cake and a sip of his coffee. He glanced down at his mug and was annoyed at how boring it was. Harry missed the little foam creations that Lynsey made for him when he ordered at Dragon Brew. He scowled.
Mew?
"You're right, Panini," said Harry, squaring his shoulders. "I should go to Dragon Brew."

Harry strode through the door of Malfoy's coffee shop and paused to inhale the rich aroma of brewing coffee and fresh baked goods. He would forever associate these luscious scents with Draco pilfering Malfoy.
"Loitering is not allowed, Auror Potter."
Harry turned his head to see Malfoy smirking at him from behind the display case. He was busy placing items inside, but it didn't prevent him from being cheeky.
"I reckon I'll have to buy something then," said Harry. He stepped up to the counter and smiled at the young barista. "Lynsey, how goes your romance with Mr Clarke?"
"It's terrific," she replied. "And you?"
"I have not been romancing Mr Clarke."
Lynsey laughed at his repartee. "I should hope not! What may I get for you? A Long Black?"
"Actually, I think I'll have a latte, and would you please create something in the foam for me?"
"Of course," she said. "What would you like?"
Harry smiled. "Surprise me."
"Potter, are you flirting with my barista?" asked Malfoy. He'd drifted closer while Harry and Lynsey were conversing.
"There is only one barista that I am interested in flirting with at Dragon Brew," Harry said solemnly, "and Bethany isn't here."
"Prat. You may never get your pants back again after a comment like that."
"Ahem." Lynsey cleared her throat as she returned with Harry's latte. "I made you a cat, but I can change it to a pair of pants if you'd rather. Also, I take it this means your romance is going swimmingly, Auror Potter?"
Harry accepted his latte, smiled at the capering kitten in the foam, and then gave Lynsey a wink. "The object of my affection nicked my pants."
"I didn't steal them, Potter. I borrowed them."
Harry turned to regard Malfoy with raised brows. "Did I name names?"
Malfoy stuck his nose in the air and steamed back to the kitchen.
Harry handed Lynsey some money for his latte. "Did he just flounce?"
"I wouldn't say flounced," Lynsey hedged, giving Harry his change.
"Of course you wouldn't. He's your boss." Harry dropped the change in Luna's donation jar. "But, that was a flounce if I ever saw one."
Lynsey could be cheeky, too. "Shall I tell him you think so?"
"Merlin forbid," said Harry. He paused to take a sip of his latte. "I may never get my pants back if you do."
