- the first day in India guys!
- So one of the things that I love about overnight trips away from the gang is that I get to branch out and meet new people. Funny story me, Bryan, Sharon, Becca, Steve, and kim, were all staying in the same hotel in Delhi on the first night. The hotel ashok. But I will get back to when I ran into them later
- So I used to like planes, I used to be a good flyer, but the plane o Delhi raped my ears like hardcore. I was nearly deaf when I got off that plane.
- So on my taj trip there were six Sarah’s… 4 of them were Sarah m’s. pretty creepy huh. So my roomate and train/plane buddy was Sarah moffett. In rows of three seating I also sat with Sarah mott.
- So when I realized that people I knew were in the hotel I was just kinda like “fuck meeting new people today! I wanna find Becca” and so I did. I found Becca and her friend Ashley. Ashley wanted to find Tyler, she asked me if I knew Tyler. Ha back then I didn’t but I started naming guys that I did know. Like Charlie cause Charlie a few nights earlier had creepily kneeled behind me and my friends at mr. sas. He helped me with me and Bryan’s box game though, so I figured he was good people. Ashley’s ears perked up at charlie’s name and she was like “I think they are friends”. So somehow we found them in the nightclub. Yes our hotel had a nightclub and like three restaurants. It was sick. I love the hotel ashok, good times. So at the nightclub I got a mango daiquiri and mostly just talked to Becca. so after the nightclub me and Becca decided we needed to find Bryan. So we asked the front desk for his room number and off we were. We went to Bryan’s room and he was only semi excited to see us. In Bryan’s room we started to make fart and poop jokes which is funny cause Bryan likes to believe that girls don’t get periods or fart or poop. Bryan has the crazy, just a tad. The turning point in the night is when Becca actually farted at which point we knew it was time to leave.

- today was an amazing day. I’ve started to notice that I rate days on this voyage by who I meet and only a little bit with what I do. Today was when I got to know my roommate Sarah moffet, Tyler, and Charlie even more. I love these kids. But I’ll get back to that
- so agra is pretty intense. Here was the first part that was intense. So on the train once we were out of the Delhi city limits we were in all fields. So its around 7am at this point and I glance out the window to noticed that its pooping time. So as we are riding along I saw like 40 people popping a squat and pooping. This sight really fucked up some kids. I mean it didn’t shock me. there were so many people doing it that it was just seemed so normal for here. Taking a shit by the train tracks.
- The begging and people trying to sell us stuff is pretty crazy. They didn’t harass me that much cause I pretended they were invisible. Like I wouldn’t make eye contact or say no thank you or anything. Some people just felt the need to be polite and say no thank you. But once you acknowledge them you can’t escape them, they will stay after you.
- Tyler is definitely a potential crush

- the Taj Mahal was so amazing. Its just unbelievable in person. Today was just perfection
- today backburner goal was to hang out with Tyler more, get a feel for him. Mission accomplished cause we spent the whole time at the Taj together, just talking and seeing the Taj. ATTENTION: we are in full blown crush mode… everyone brace themselves
- Today after the Taj Mahal we went to mother Teresa’s orphanage. I knew going in to this that it was going to be really hard and honestly I didn’t want to go and I felt bad for not wanting to go. I felt bad that I was like the only want that didn’t want to play with mentally handicapped orphans in India. I just new it would depress me and make me fell like a hypocrite. Cause all week I had been ignoring children on the street who are just like the orphans except the orphans have a roof over their heads. Also there were mentally challenged adults which I was not prepared for. I just didn’t want to get all emotional and fucked up about how shitty the world is.
- Happy stuff now…. So we went to a mall. Just me, Tyler and Charlie. Tyler and I hung out and he wanted me to help him pick out a nice outfit for him. It was cute and it was fun. I helped him pick out some nice pants and a cute button up shirt. Meanwhile Charlie had bought this sweet robe that he is planning on wearing to the ambassador’s ball.
- So on the train from agra I realized that Erin and Beth were on the same train so I made the journey from carriage 3 (which had a western toilet thank the lord) to carriage ten. Saw my jersey loves then headed back to my seat, when I got there Charlie had taken my seat. Which was fine cause Tyler was awake so I just sat with him and we chatted
- So I had found myself back at my old friend the hotel ashok along with about three other SAS taj trips. Remember hotel ashok is the one with the night club right inside. I smell a shitshow a brewing. But I had no plans of getting drunk. I just wanted to chill with Tyler and the jersey gangsters. But at the club I managed to find steve and kim, and they decided they were going to follow me around. They followed me right into Tyler’s room, they don’t know Tyler, so yea that was a little weird. When Charlie came back I told him how he missed steve hanging out in here he said “good ginger kids freak me out”. This is why me and Charlie are friends.

- today was pretty awesome. We just toured around new delhi and saw tons of amazing stuff. Like we saw Gandhi’s memorial and some pretty cool temples. One of the temples was a sikh temple and we had to take off our shoes and we all had to cover our heads. Someone took a picture of me, Charlie and Tyler in front of it, it’s a pretty sweet pic and I’ve been trying to get it for awhile now. As soon as I do I plan on making it my new facebook picture. We went to the lotus temple which is so beautiful
- at the airport I was reunited with Erin, the love of my life and I met Andrew 2.0. me and Tyler played some hangman and some MASH.
- On the plane I of course sat inbetween my two favorite sarah m’s lol. And we played three way war and we were a lil loopy, just a lil
- So my bus, fucking bus number 2 was the last bus to leave the airport which means that waiting to get on the ship will take about 45 minutes, remember all our bags get searched. So on the bus back Tyler sat with me and that was good conversation as usual.
- Waiting to get on the ship Beth and Caitlin made faces from the ship, I flipped them off and Tyler gave them the shocker. Nice

- last day in India you guys! And guess where I went? The mall. So Beth, Erin, becca, Ashley and I headed out to go to spencers plaza to go shopping, it was amazing, they had the last two traveling pants so now I can finish the series!
- for starters a motorcycle hit our taxi as we were leaving the dock. Fun
- we got pizza hut and it was fucking amazing (I just couldn’t eat any more curry guys)
- on the way back me and beccas auto rickshaw got side swipped by a car. Fun
- Tyler ate dinner with us, cute. Then I went back to his room and we talked about music and listened to music, it was nice
- Watched temple of doom, we were in India so we had too. Also we watched lock, stock and two smoking barrels. Fun movie
- We’re not allowed to flush when we pee anymore, the water crisis on the ship is getting serious

- Hung out in Tyler’s room most of the evening
- Watched emperors new groove, but had secret covos with bryan the whole time. The group didn’t appreciate this
- My roommate just found out I got robbed some 12 days later… I guess news doesn’t spread around the ship as fast as I thought
