The hols were over, and Albus found himself getting jostled between his brother and sister as the Hogwarts Express chugged into the station.
"Geroff," he snapped, elbowing James in the ribs. "It's not going to leave without us."
"Do you have a girlfriend you're anxious to see again?" teased Lily.
Albus felt his face get hot, and he was glad he didn't have his siblings' fair complexion. Lily wasn't too far off the mark. Al ignored her and scanned the crowd of students and parents.
Scorpius Malfoy caught his eye and winked, and Al's face got hot all over again.
