Bella Swan needs to STFU. :| I hate the books because I hate her. And I also hate Edward and his sparkles*~. Really, I just like Jacob and Alice.

See, Bella didn't bother me so much in the first book mostly because I liked the chase for Edward so much. But as the books progress, Edward gets more possessive, Bella gets whinier and Stephenie Meyer insists that they are "soul mates" or some shit, the less interested I am in reading them. I haven't even picked up the fourth book yet, the premise irritates me so much.

Frankly, I would have been happy just to have left it at one book. I find her need to shade in every little corner of the characters' personalities annoying and unnecessary.
