Move on over to blogspot, and I'll totally link you, yo!
I am happy that you're doing well, sweetie. I know you feel bad when you don't talk with your friends very often, but over the past several months, you have been given the opportunity of a lifetime. It has been great to watch you open up and experience things day by day. You've made new friends while still holding onto the ones who already exist, which can be challenging, especially in times of great change. I only hope I can be as successful in my study abroad endeavors as you've been at Disney.
Take your time getting closure. You will miss this, and I think it's great that you are planning ahead, but don't forget to reflect on all the beautiful things that you have experienced. :) Be sure to keep Belle close as you continue to move forward.
PS: I agree with caroleella up there. I believe LJ is only as immature and high-schoolish as you make it, really. Plus, if you deleted the journal you'd be deleting memories.
Aw don't leave lj. I don't feel livejournal is high school-ish at all. I mean, sure, there's a lot of high schoolers on it, and I know I still go back and check on my high school self, but I think it also depends on who's reading your entries and the journals/communities you're reading. I find the fangirl-type and icon communities to be a little on the young side, but I don't really know what to suggest for a more mature crowd, since all the comms I read are pretty snarky :-P
I find that those who don't have a themed blog of sorts end up not paying attention to them. Though starting brand new sounds like a good idea. But I'm not sure if the memories should be left behind, good and bad, memories are still memories, right?
