some Stevie art

i did a portrait of Stevie and i figured i'd share it.
i'm currently working on a series of Stevie portraits on big (2'x3') canvases. they're going to span her career... in hats.
this painting isn't part of that series (because it's on 18"x24"), but it was the inspiration.

one down (beyond this one), three to go.
i'm making the hats slightly more vibrant colors than they are in the photographs i'm basing the paintings off of. sort of to accentuate the connection.
