2005

Jan 17, 2005 14:26

Boyfriend na lang.
Yun na lang talaga.

Hehehehehehe.

Goal one for 2005: get a regular tv gig.

I'm already in talks for precisely that. I hope it pushes through so please pray for this people. I've never ever watched the show who's considering me for one of their segments, but right now, almost any show will do. I'll work on the coolness factor later. Hehe.

Goal two for 2005: do fashion, preferably couture.

Again, I'm already working on this. Designer is Patis Tesoro and I'm working with my newest favorite photographer. I've done one shoot, we have several more planned.

Now, I just need more shoots like these with other teams.

Goal three for 2005: that my US trip be paid for by all my January projects.

I'm waiting for all the projects of my clients to push through. I have a catalog, an advertorial, an AVP, a couple of food shoots, a billboard etc in the works. I get all of them, I'm set for my trip. Even if I get payment after the trip, at least I know the money will come in.

I'm currently working on the magazine where I'm style director. I also already finished one resto pictorial (food) with another one coming pa. I'm keeping my fingers crossed na everything pushes through. Even if I don't get to sleep last week of January 'til first week February, ok lang. I'm leaving Feb 6 for LA so I really need to finsih all projects by then...

I'm flying off to NY for a week sometime late February and am planning to catch a couple of Broadway shows-- Wicked and Ave Q!!! One of my best friends who lives in the area has told me that tickets are sold out until March tho. Waah! But where there's a will, there's a way. Kasehodang scalper tickets bilhin ko. Hmf.

I'm hoping I get more billboards this year than last year (kahit natupad ko din yung goal ko to pepper EDSA and South Superhighway with my work...) and I need to work with more agencies. :D

So there, my goals are going somewhere, I think. The one aspect I'm not working on is my personal life because I can't. I'm also not working on myself much, I can but I sometimes lack time to do so. I have started to workout again tho, so I'm patting myself on the back for that.

Coming out late January 2005. Please watch out for it. This is half of the project, the before and after design I made for them. Yes, I do interiors too. *bow* Photos by Karl notaproblem.

I'm pretty psyched with this one because it took less than an hour to re-do the look of the room. I basically had a plan already so it was easy enough to implement it. The god of interiors is really in the details. You can change the whole look of the place with the decorations you decide to add. See? Konting tela, konting pillows and some bric a brac and you have a Moroccan/Arabian Nights themed room na. :)

I did the layout of this one, was thinking to drum up interest for the magazine through this journal--if anyone still reads it as I've been gone for so long...:(

This is for China Star (branches at Podium, Market Market and Alabang). Photos by Jake Versoza. I had to think of ways to make dimsum unique style-wise, so here, the fruits of my labor. I was experimenting with layout also. Seeing it this way, I should have added a border around the white area. *sheepish* Bahala na kayo, fill in the blank spots. Hahaha!

This is for the menu of Chubby China, a new resto opening in Greenbelt. Again, photos by Jake.

I'll try to post more work samples the minute I have two minutes to rub together. I'm too busy at times, I've had a really LONG post that I've been typing up since DECEMBER and I still haven't finished it, nor posted it. Pfft.

O sya, back to work muna ang lola. ;)

I was looking for something to pass away the time and decided to googlewhack. I though it was gonna be hard but damn it, I got one on my FIRST try. It didn't take me five minutes! Out of four whacks I found, two of them made it to the googlewhack website while the other two I posted somewhere else. So there. I'm the googlewhack queen. Hahaha! I'm the enchantress mamasan. Since I don't find it challenging na, I stopped playing. It isn't challenging when every time I sit down to play it, I find one kagad. Try it you guys, it's fun! And I still do get really excited when I find one. :)

NEWEST ADDICTION: saging na saba with emmental cheese. Try it. :D Hindi man pumasa ang googlewhack, eto, may bago naman ako pinag-eksperimentuhan. Hahaha!

Has anyone tried peanut butter and banana in whoe wheat bread with chili sauce? Germano's chili sauce in olive oil! Order from me! Super sarap promise. I'm trying to get other people to try this combo for years now. Hmf.

My current ring tone because I am in love with the song. Wag na natin pagusapan yung band, pwede? ;P

"Sunday Morning"
Maroon 5

Sunday morning rain is falling
Steal some covers share some skin
Clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettable
You twist to fit the mold that I am in
But things just get so crazy living life gets hard to do
And I would gladly hit the road get up and go if I knew
That someday it would lead me back to you
That someday it would lead me back to you

That may be all I need
In darkness she is all I see
Come and rest your bones with me
Driving slow on Sunday morning
And I never want to leave

Fingers trace your every outline
Paint a picture with my hands
Back and forth we sway like branches in a storm
Change the weather still together when it ends

That may be all I need
In darkness she is all I see
Come and rest your bones with me
Driving slow on Sunday morning
And I never want to leave

But things just get so crazy living life gets hard to do
Sunday morning rain is falling and I'm calling out to you
Singing someday it'll bring me back to you
Find a way to bring myself back home to you

And you may not know
That may be all I need
In darkness she is all I see
Come and rest your bones with me
Driving slow on Sunday morning
