(no subject)

The immediate impression is of a large, spacious room that looks like it's been lived-in for some time: furniture that looks comfortable and used, walls hung with a variety of artistic pieces, and worn but vacuumed carpet. There is plenty of light coming in from the windows, which look out onto a cityscape, and from the overhead fluorescent lights. Various doors and a single hallway lead away from the living room, including one to the outside that looks very heavy and is locked with some simple bolts. The hallway leads to a small kitchen stocked with fresh ingredients, though there are no smells to suggest that food has been cooked here recently, and there is a pantry in the kitchen that stretches off for a much longer ways than the dimensions of the rest of the place would suggest: a pantry filled with electronic interfaces and storage databanks rather than food.

The closed doorways are three in number. The first one leads to a kind of workroom that's much dirtier than the rest of the area, but still fairly well-organized. Locks of all descriptions and the tools used to break them are scattered all around, with a work or two in progress almost always sitting on the workbench. There are a couple of greasy manuals laying around as well, and a few pieces of MJOLNIR armor in various stages of repair.

The other two doors, on opposite sides of the living room, lead to nearly identical bedrooms, each containing a comfortable-looking bed with green covers and fluffy pillows. The right one is often occupied by a sleeping form; the left one, rarely so. On the occasions when both inhabitants are seen, they can often be found together in one area or another, sometimes working and sometimes just enjoying each other's company.

It seems like a pretty nice place.
