chapter ten: The End
Yesterday it was raining
and I was so sad
If I had not been inside
I would have gone mad.
My mother killed herself,
though she did not want to die.
My father drank
and left with my sister without saying goodbye.
I was ready to give up
and let go of this life
Then you came to brighten up my world
and agreed to be my wife.
I'm so grateful to you,

Without you I would now be facing my end

Though, some days, I might prefer myself.

1: ISSUES
L was hoping to go to the university, but I didn't want to play any more than necessary for the story. This, unfortunately, resulted in poort L having a mental breakdown on his birthday.
Light wasn't save either. He just had a more discrete way of showing his disappointment.
2: LIGHT'S EXCERSISE CLOTHING
Light got the most ridiculous outfit for excersising. I had a lot of fun when he changed into it.
3: EVERYDAY LIFE
Light and L were very much in love with each other.
Light was also rather handy, so he happily took care of little chores that would have otherwise remained undone.
4: THE REPO MAN
Someone forgot to pay the bills so L and Light got their bookshelf repossessed.
And their maid?
No, just the lamp. I didn't even know they had one.
5: SIGNS OF LOVE
L and Light spent a lot of time showing their affection to each other. They were quite adorable.
6: L'S OLD HOBBY
L continued solving crimes. Sometimes.
7: THE WEDDING
Light and L decided they should get married for real. Yes, the scene you saw in the story was not real. After all, the song was merely Light's imagination.
8: L'S HAPPINESS
L was so happy with Light it was almost ridiculous at times. If he woke up before Light, he would stand in the bedroom, or clean the windows, until Light woke up.
9: CONVERSATIONS AT DINNER
L: You know, I would really like a magical hat.
Light: I don't think so, honey.
Light: You looked much better in a dress.
10: L'S PRESENT TO LIGHT
L painted a picture of Light, and they hung it in the livingroom.
11: FIRST SIGNS OF TROUBLE
Life wasn't all good for the two. One day they had a fight in the bathroom.
L: AAAAARGH!
Light: Look, now, you cannot...
L: Oh, I sure can!
Light: No! Listen to me!
L: I won't listen to your lousy excuses!
L: You're good for nothing! (Luckily you're really hot!)
L: Don't make me use my karate on you!
Light: Fine!
L: Fine!
Light couldn't take the pressure of L being angry with him, so he cleaned up the tub.
And L forgave him.
12: ATTACHMENT
This is what they would do often too: when the other one was eating (usually L), the other would come to the diningroom "to look at the nice painting on the wall" (usually Light). Byt that's kind of cute, right?
13: L'S VIEW ON HIS OWN SKILLS
Light took a look at the painting L made of him. He didn't like it. Unfortunate L happened to be in the same room reading a book, so after Light had settled down to write into his diary, L was horrified by his bad skill in paintin.
14: TOGETHER. STILL.
Like said, these two wouldn't leave each other alone.
But really, they were so happy with each other.
I mean, look at those faces!
Sometimes this would happen as well: when the other one was tired but the other one was still doing something, the tired one wouldn't go to bed, but slept on the sofa instead. Was that confusing enough?
15: LIGHT'S WORST NIGHTMARE
One night Light woke up after having a terrible nightmare.
And the next day his dream came true. L died.
Light wasn't ready to lose him, so he begged the death to let L live.
Death agreed, but with the condition that Light would be able to tell in which hand he was keeping L's soul.
Light: YES!
Light: In your face!
And everything was well once more.
16: THE ISSUES DEEPEN
Everything seemed to be normal.
But L had some serious issues. So did Light; his love for L prevented him from going to the toilet when he had to.
Also, someone forgot to pay the bills again.
L was watching from the bathroom when their table was taken away.
Down in the kitchen L couldn't stay silent anymore.
L: I can't believe this happened again.
L: If you tell me you will take care of the bills, then you will take care of the bills.
Light: I... But I...
Light: I'm sorry.
L: Just make sure it never happens again!
Light: Yes. I'm sorry.
Maid: LOL!
L: (But he's still hot!)
Light got upset, and walked away.
Except...
Light: Why the fuck is there a fucking chimney on my way?!
It took a while for the two to get over their second fight.
17: SILENT APOLOGIES
Light went to read a romantic novel, and L followed him. Everything was fine, once more.
18: ODD TURN-ONS, L!
L: You know, X-rays are hot. The way you can see through someone's skin - it's amazing.
Light: Ok, darling. Now shut up and take me!
19: A VISITOR
The genie visited our heroes. Light made his three wishes, which resulted in nothing special.
Genie: (What a waste of time!)
20: BIRTHDAYS
It was time for their birthday.
Light was the first one to grow old. And in the process he lost his sense of style.
When it was L's turn to grow up, Light was writing in his diary.
Poor L couldn't take it.
21: NEW STYLES
No one could stand them in their odd new styles, so they changed into something more comfortable, and Light cut his hair.
22: BAD NEWS
One night a man broke into their house.
There appeared to be nothing interesting in the house, so he left.
And on his way he took their car with him. Luckily he had a bag big enough to fit the whole car!
Losing their car was quite a shock for L.
23: MORE TROUBLE
After spending the whole day out, L got a heat stroke.
The situation seemed rather bad.
24: THE FIRST END
All of a sudden, Mr. Death appeared.
L's elderly body couldn't take the heat.
25: LIGHT'S UNHAPPINESS
At first I thought L's death hadn't affected Light in anyway. He simply walked out of the bedroom and went to the bathroom. Then it turned out he was badly hurt.
Light couldn't even sleep in their bed.
So he spent the following nights on the sofa.
After L was gone Light refused to eat. He didn't even complain, even though he must have been terribly hungry. He continued until he faced his end.
In conclusion, I must say the ending surprised me. None of my sims have ever commited suicide. I wasn't expecting anything like that. This, I suppose, proves that Light was truly in love with L. How tragically beautiful.
