At dinner, I asked my Mom if she had a good birthday. She paused and said, "It was okay." "Only okay?" "Well, because, I get sad when I look at you." nope. it's actually quite nice for now. a bit chilly in the mornings and evenings, but it doesn't get much colder than it does in VA, just feels like it since it's windy and by the sea. more rainy here too, but it's all good. what's gonna be a trip is how long/short the days will be. in the winter, the sun's up 9am-3pm and in the summer, 4am-1am. crazy, huh?
