A year's worth of emails

In addition to not being around this Live Journal for a year, I had also not checked my email for a year. A whole year! I expected to come back to find lots of emails. I came back to six. Six emails in a year. All of them were Bank of America writing me to tell me that there is a problem with my account. But I don't have an account with Bank of ( Read more... )

I leave my email for a day and I have at least six offers of penile enlargement (I don't have one), a few for designer watches (my Fossil suits me fine) and a couple for refinancing my mortgage (I rent) so perhaps only finding BofA harassing your inbox isn't such a bad thing...

Did you have a good year off? :)

Well, yes. I suppose if I look it at that way, it's much better to have nothing instead of a lot of whatnot that doesn't make any sense at all.

I had a wonderful year off. Well. As much as one can, really, when all one is doing is working. There's been quite a bit of hubub as of late, hasn't there?

I think it's as natural as death, er, as you itself, that people may shy away from communicating with that which they hope to avoid (in the metaphysical sense) for as long as possible.

Yes, you're right. I can't argue that. But I did have a lovely girl who used to send me songs. I suppose people can only take so much of silence before they get fed up.
