Fansubbing gone horribly wrong?

I almost fell for a YHBT.... But arresting [DB] fansubbers at Otakon is a little far-fetched, they'd have to have made it past all the cosplay'ers with their "concealed weapons" first :)

I think people possibly like to try these stories more and more in this era where there are ads on TV asking people to watch out for suspicious acitivity. It can make the readers that bit more paranoid, and thereby that bit more suggestible.

Unfortunately, the strongarm tactics of the RIAA, MPAA and other pro-industry, anti-artist domestic terrorism cells make such acts in America (and now somewhat Australia, thank you 'free' trade agreement :P) perfectly realistic.

Oh, yeah. You hear about this geezer? Lot of fuss there, especially when it was announced that the maximum sentence he could have got for pirating software (and been extradited, as he was) was higher than what he might have got if he'd raped someone. That doesn't really seem right, somehow...

PS: Ah, cooly. Thought it might be something 'long those lines. (Reminds me of how much I haven't done on my own pages lately...)
