Save every five seconds in Dragon Age. If you're on a computer, there's a keyboard shortcut SO USE IT. It'll auto-save before boss fights and some plot points, but that's basically it.

and IA about Alistair. /neverqueen.

I have played it before (a few years ago, actually), but I've gotten so used to coherent and rational and timely auto-saves that I'd forgotten how much it sucks in DA. Ugh. I've gotten slightly better about it, but it's hard to shake the "one... more... chamber..." mindset.

I will be queen, dammit! Once.

Honestly, I'd have a harder time letting whatshisface that jerkass noble from the City Elf origin go than romancing Alistair. So for a lot of reasons (starting with how I always play a mage), I'm never going to see queen lol.

I'm playing ME1 now, and sweet jesus, autosave is USELESS.

I played through the City Elf origin once, and I was so freaking offended by that dude that I just started murdering everything in sight. In game, of course. That didn't exactly win me points. I think I was also a mage there, so that playthrough ended pretty early. Heh.

I don't remember the autosave in ME1. I'm usually better at shooters than sword-ers, so I may not have had an issue with it. I'm used to Borderlands (having recently started an NG+ to get the super-level achievements, LOL), where the autosave mechanism is so awesome. Nearly perfect, I'd say.

Hahahaha, one of my friends is the exact same way, though I'm pretty sure her first-ever love was Carth in KOTOR. But she's all about Alistair, which is silly.

I'm getting better at saving. Not much, but some.

considering my life, i really HADN'T known love until alistair, which given things, is probably a bit sad. however, i give zero fucks, he made me feel worth something!!!!!!!!

My sister is playing now, for the first time. I am so torn as to whether to warn her about Alastair, or just enjoy her reaction in the final scenes.
