but the flexibility in things like wearing pants is amazeballs

So very true!

We'd been eating at Olive Garden fairly regularly over the last decade or so, because the rodents love the food, and I do think that here in California, at least, the quality of food has declined. Not drastically, and it does seem more likely that your sister's tastes have changed is more responsible for her dissatisfaction than the change in the food, but, yeah, that's been our data point...

I happened to walk into Starbucks during this amazing deal too - just in time, since the deal ended at 5:00 PM and I ordered my drink at 4:57. XD

Also, aww, your sister is growing up!

I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT'S HAPPENING ANYMORE.

And have you seen the potential division realignment? Leaders: UW, OSU, PSU, Purdue, Indiana, Maryland, Rutgers. WHY THE HELL DO WE GET SCREWED ON THE TRAVEL - AGAIN?! This is bloody absurd.

But I think my favorite part of the whole thing is thus: "Georgia Tech, Kansas and North Carolina, which are members of the prestigious Association of American Universities, like every Big Ten member except Nebraska, might be the next targets on Delany's radar." (granted, it's a spec piece, but still - WTF.)

The least they could have done was find a school with a frigging hockey program, especially since the B1G seriously fucked up all hockey alignments by demanding - and getting - their own conference. A conference that has, by the way, six teams - one of which just became a varsity sport (PSU). (In fairness, four of the six teams are, like, super-elite.)

It would be absolutely hilarious to live in NC and see if UNC went to the B1G. Shit would quite literally be flipped.
