This somewhat reminds me of when a friend of mine made daily journal entries for a week in the style of Samuel Pepys. Wonderful.

Depends if you're trying to be wanky and pronounce the words as a native of their country of origin would, or if you're anglicizing them. I opt for the latter since it's more patriotic of me and what do furriners know anyways?

My feeble attempt at humour has clearly failed and you thought I was serious. I'm ashamed. This is obviously serious stuff and I will endeavour to match the tone in future.

Pan-ee-tone This is Italian in origin isn't it? Hmm, perhaps it should be pan-ee-tone-ee then? I always think of those lovely graphic design colours, are they panatone or pantone or something like that.

I've no idea if any of these are correct. I only discovered the correct way to pronounce wassailing when listening to a song on the radio just before Christmas this year. Now I know it's wa-sul-ing and not way-say-ling.
