Actually I’ve been very impressed with the tactics & leadership used to keep the conversation going until the bills are back in front of a sitting committee. The arrogance of the Pelosi/Reid led congress would have provided the Democrats with the shortest majority in US history. The President is doing a wonderful job of making sure that doesn’t happen.

AND -- AND! It's not like Obama's GETTING anything out of caving. It's not like anybody, like AT ALL, is saying, "Aha, now I'll vote for it and I wasn't going to before."

He's caving to try to satisfy a group that can't be satisfied, that doesn't WANT to be satisfied. Those opposed to health care reform, by and large, aren't interested in making Obama's suggestion better. They just want to kill it, and so that means oppose, oppose, oppose. Obama et al. give something up? Doesn't matter -- oppose, oppose, oppose.

It's disgustipatin'.
