Kibum POV
"Goodbye, hyung." I didn't know that were the last words I'd say to him. I was in high school then, young and carefree. I was bullied by Heechul's gang. I was sitting at the clinic, healing my wounds. Then he came in, shouting about a cut on his finger. He was overreacting at some times. That's what I like about him. I wanted to take care of him with all my life. I never really wanted to say this, but, I was thankful to Heechul. He was the reason I met my first love. He said that he will study abroad in college. I had a one-sided love for him. I promised myself that I'd propose to him when he comes back. Unfortunately, he never came.

-

"Hyung." My brother Kyuhyun called out.

"What?" I asked, simply annoyed. I was preparing the proposal ring for Donghae. At last, he was coming back tonight.

"That guy looks pretty much like Donghae hyung." Kyuhyun pointed at the TV that was broadcasting about a crash. A plane crash. I thought my heart stopped beating. I dashed out of the house and onto his family's house. I held the ring tightly in my hand, that it hurted.

"Please don't. Please please don't." I silently whispered as my tears fell from my cheeks. I knocked on the door. His brother opened the door. HIs eyes were all red and puffy, just like his parents.

"Is it true?" My voice cracked.

"Yeah. He's gone. His plane crashed." Mrs. Lee's voice trembled slightly. "At least, they recovered his body. You could still see him on his funeral. His face, perfect as ever." I sank on my knees and cried.

He's gone, forever.

-

Someone knocked on my door. I went out and saw two small envelopes. I looked at the sender's name. Lee Donghae. It was sent a week ago. My hands shook as I opened it carefully, not want to tear apart his last letter to me. I want to treasure it. I would treasure it.

It said:
Hallu Kibummie~! I'm coming back this week! I missed you so so much! You're still my bestfriend~ ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ~ ^^ You're doing good in college, right? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ ♥ I really really love you~! I mean it. ♥ Fishy ♥ Snow White! Meh. Pinocchio and Snow White. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ~ ♥ Well, see you! ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ~ ♥ .

-

I read the line 'I really really love you~!' He likes me back. If he was alive, we would be together by now. I looked at another letter. It's the invitation to the funeral of Donghae. It was tomorrow. I quickly went to my closet and prepared my clothes. I look at the ring that was on my bedside table. I smiled.

-

I woke up as early as possible. I drove my car to the funeral home and begged to open Donghae's casket. Fortunately, they pitied me. They took off the glass and left me alone with Donghae. My Donghae. I held his cold hand, took the ring out of my pocket, and put the ring on his finger. It fitted perfectly. I slowly caressed his soft white face. I kissed his cheek, then whispered to him: "Goodbye." My eyes blurred that instant. Tears fell from my eyes.

-

They almost buried him. I put the white flower on top.

"I love you." I murmured softly, crying.

That was my last farewell.
