photos galore?

day 08 → a photo that makes you angry/sad
This is my grandmother, a photo of her from way back when, before my mom was even born, I think. Jesus, it's been six or seven years since she died. Doesn't seem like that long. Anyway, it's kind of a bittersweet photo, since I miss her, but I also like seeing the person she was back then, the person I didn't know. She seems fun :)

day 09 → a photo you took
I took this one like...ten or eleven years ago, during one of the few times it snowed in Texas. It's nothing special, but it reminded me of New York, and how it felt to look up at the sky in the dark as it snowed, and see millions of snowflakes falling all around you during a blizzard. It was like being in a snow globe. Even if I didn't love the aftermath of the snow, I loved that feeling. Kind of miss it.
