Seven Deadly Sins Series - Faberry Drabbles

Aug 30, 2010 01:00

I decided to write these as a part of Slash the Drabble community prompts, Seven Deadly Sins. Each prompt is one sin, but I thought it would be interesting to create a little story out of all of them, with one drabble for each. Let me know if you think it worked out or not! =)

Title: Never a Sin

”And right now… I want you… to be my friend,”

LOVE that part. So Rachel. And this story is really great. I like the use of the prompts and how it all flows together. :D

Thanks, when I saw those prompts in particular and started writing, I thought it could be interesting to link them all together somehow. And between those two, there's sins to go around! :p Glad you liked it!

This was beautiful. Its an interesting idea for a story, I might use it just to get over my writers block.

This is actually the reason why I love drabbles and ficlets, and having prompts! :p I have had some serious writer's block over the past months with my chapter fics, and this way I get to keep writing something, and it does help a lot! Good luck for you! ^^ And thanks for reading and commenting!

Love love love this. I don't quite know why, but whenever I read the Gluttony drabble, I get this adorable little film in my head of Rachel shoving all that food in a large paper bag. :)

My only criticism is the sudden change in attitude towards Rachel. Of course with the 100 word limit and 700 word in all limit you can't exactly have an intricate character development.

A+ :)

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for commenting! ^^

As for the change of attitude, believe me, it bothers me too, lol! I'm all for carefully laid character development and build ups, but it's exactly like you said, there's only so much you can do with such a strict limit. I hate saying things like: "Quinn decided to not push Rachel away anymore" instead of showing why and how she decided that. But when it comes to drabbles, you have to pick your battles! :P Again, thank you for commenting! =)
