Royal Wedding!

I still can not believe I didn't get a photo of Kate or of them in the carriage when they left the Abbey! But hey, I tried, but they were going way too fast and at some point it becomes a matter of luck if you don't have a professional camera. Anyway, let's start from the beginning:

So I had convinced my friend Kairi to meet me at Trafalgar Square at 7 in the morning (after we both left work yesterday and the simple thought of waking up early was a nightmare, but oh well, the sacrifices we do for those kids!). I slept for about 3 hours before waking up and zombying my way around the streets to get a bus. Once there, we met quite easily (it still wasn't as crowded as I had expected) and made our way to Westminster. The way there was funny enough, with people handing us flags and paper crowns and, of course, we got in the spirit!

We soon arrived at the Abbey and, again, not as crazy and crowded over there, so we were able to secure a good spot. People around us were crazy and I loved them! Other than people, there was this guy, who was the cutest thing in the world and kept barking at the most amazing times! LOL!
It seemed like forever since something really started. But then, all of a sudden, we see the guests getting inside through the side doors, where the public couldn't reach, so we couldn't see much. It was still exciting, though, we could spot the crazy hats and the amazing dresses from afar.

And then all the bells of the church started ringing at once, so thrilling! And Prince Harry and the groom passed by in the car! At this point I was mostly snapping pictures at random, hoping to catch something, and I didn't even know that William was there too, until I zoomed in and checked! lol!

They were followed by Pippa, all the bridesmaids, Charles and Camilla, and then the Queen! Finally, Kate made her way inside, with her dad, but I couldn't get them on comera. I did get the car, though. At this point, I was more worried about seeing everything than getting a good photo. I knew we would get photos all over the internet soon anyway, but actually seeing everything was a once in a lifetime experience. We could see her face and the veil perfectly, and everyone already knew she looked gorgeous.

Once she was inside, the audio went live and we could hear everything which was going on, as it happened. Coolest thing ever! We heard the entire ceremony, we heard them saying the vows, her voice was so sweet and so quiet, she sounded so nervous! It was lovely!

The bells started again, and they made their way outside. I can't believe I couldn't get a photo of the couple in the carriage, but one of my friends from work did as they were arriving at Buckingham Palace. Well, mostly William, but we all know she's right beside him! After them, it was time for the best man and the lovely kids. And then Pippa, the maid of honour, with some more adorable royal kids! Ok, I should probably say their names. So from what I could see, with Harry on the photo are Tom Pettifer and Lady Louise Windsor. With Pippa (again, photo taken from my friend), William Lowther-Pinkerton, I'm almost positive the little one is Grace van Cutsem, and the one waving is Margarita Armstrong-Jones.

The Queen was next, in the carriage with the Duke of Edinburgh, and finally the proud parents of the new couple.

After all the commotion, we were finally able to move after 5 hours! lol! My legs felt strange, but I have to say, it was totally worth it! Most people were making their way to the Palace, but I was just exhausted at this point, plus it was already so crowded that I knew we wouldn't be able to get a decent place anyway. I went to Marble Arch and waited a bit before I could get the afternoon paper, there was no way I would come back home without the paper from the day with the very first photos. And it's pretty and everyone is happy and I love it!

Basically, I just came back home then and slept for 3 hours before waking up and taking a look at everything and posting this! But yeah, GREAT DAY, and I still can't believe I was a part of it. They look so cute, and so in love! I wish he was the future king instead of his father. Unforgetable, something I will remember for the rest of my life!
