Ah! ...But there is an english track on the DVD, and one of my most favorite things in the world is seeing how bad they are.
...Or in the very, very few cases (i.e. FLCL) that the english dubbing is actually good. I bet the dubbing is crap, but surely there must be the inkling of curiosity?
Or is it too blasphemous? Mind you this is a serious question and is in no way to come off as mocking, snide, etc...
Well, I am a bit curious just to see HOW badly it was done but I had an agent of mine (read: ex-girlfriend) watch some of the two episodes Funimation put online. Let's just say from a mostly impartial view she could not finish either episode. They mispronounce names too! (I rant about it for some length on other forums) I confronted Funimation at Katsucon too. My curiosity is still there but I will never hear the English track of Shuffle! if I can at all help it.
I would rather watch an animated version of Bishoujo Sentai Petalicon with my mother in a church (which would cause me to be alight) than listen to what Funimation did to matters to me most. As I wrote elsewhere: "Did you ever want to eat your own face then cut open your stomach so you could eat your face again? That is what Funimation makes you want to do when they license your obsession."
