rant, funny convos, and new sketches :)
Since I've been gone for months from here, I desperately need to update.
I finally get my scanner/printer to work and it turns out I didn't get the right driver from the website. I can only scan to a memory card right now. After some heavy swearing, I said "Fine. I can still do this without another hour of download and set-up," and grab my memory card from my camera. It's dark in this room and I want it that way so my scans aren't all weird. BUT, they ended up scanning weird anyway since I have no way to control it without that driver I need... apparently. THAT AND A DEAD BUG DECIDED MY SCANNER WAS A NICE PLACE TO RIP. Since I wasn't able to see my scans until I moved my mem. card to my computer, all my scanned drawings have a dead bug and/or dead bug parts in them. EPIC FAIL.
And all I wanted was to play with my drawings in photoshop... I get all excited only to find that someone decided to take my tablet pen and put it somewhere where neither I nor my Mom can find. We looked for over an hour until I had a fit and threw my shit down. WTF. That's 30 dollars to replace... without shipping. THAT AND IT'S ON BACKORDER... T.T I refuse to buy it... my pen is around here somewhere. Srsly.
So I go upstairs to get some much needed clutches.. chocolate and caffeine. BUT MY BROTHER ATE ALL THE MINI SNICKERS! I angrily picked up the bag saying "What is this shit!?" And my brother, from a safe distance mind you, meows and hisses. Very funny little bro. Ha. Ha.
Funny convo I heard in the Barnes and Noble Cafe:
Girl 1: "And he texted me saying I wasn't American because I didn't eat beef!"
Girl 2: "What!? So does that like make you a Nazi or something?"
... I choked on my food from laughing so hard.
You should have heard them. It was so ridiculous... and they will probably have kids someday T.T
Another outrageous convo snippet:
Guy: "Our economy is so low that it's like we're a 3rd world country."
... Really now- middle aged, white man sitting in Starbucks... I'll leave that one alone.
I was surrounded by stupid today. It was so sad and so epic all at the same time.
The first two are of a little girl and her grown up version... Drawn to the song of "Far Far" by Yael Naim :) The younger girl has a sketch on the bottom of Nami's tattoo and 3 swords = guess what one of my fav ships in One Piece are? lol ;p
This next one is of Orihime modeled after the front page of chapter 354 "Heart" The wings are hers, but totally Ulquiorra's shape, color, ect. The tears are also like Ulquiorra's markings... They made quite the impression on each other, ya know. ;p
Anyway, that's enough for tonight... I'm too tired to put up the rest. I have to be up at 3:30 AM for work as it is every weekday. T.T
