Good review. :) I'm a VA reader too, and I agree with most of your points. Honestly, I find the first book to be the weakest, since I wasn't too happy with the school drama it had going on at first... but once I got into Frostbite, I got hooked all the way to the latest installment (politics! mystery! complicated conflicts of interests!). :)
I've been meaning to write a review for the whole series, but I never seem to get the chance... haha *facepalms*. I like your entry and your pretty banners too. :)
I basically did this for friends who were wondering about the books that I brought to school everyday and read under the desks while the teachers taught :P
As for the banners, they are my very first attempt at Photoshop, so they suck, but feel free to take them if you like.
One thing. However, it is still intriguing enough to get the next (and last) book in the series. Spirit Bound (the next book) is not the last in the series, there's a sixth book, currently untitled...
Sorry about the error, and thanks a lot for pointing that out! I wrote this long before I knew that there was going to be a book after Spirit Bound, or that there was going to be a spin-off series.
