I just finished watching "Veronica Mars" season 1 for the second time ... and it's still highly addictive.
- I love the humor. Like totally. The father-daughter conversations, when Veronica pretends to be the cute little girl who's into ponies and unicorns, it so cracks me up.
- I love how they mixed stand-alone material and continuity in every episode, making it watchable for the incidental zapper and for the die-hard-fan.
- I LOVE the love-hate-relationship between Veronica and Logan. The first kiss between them felt like your favourite slash couple would actually kiss on screen. Totally unexpected, keeping you glued to the screen and triggering an uncontrollable squee. Plus, they are never long enough together for the tension to die. ;)
- I also loved how they pictured her friendship with Wallace. The episode in which she put anonymous cookies in his locker to make him believe he had a secret fan? N'awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
- The music! It just rocks.
- Her love for Lilly. <3
But what I loved the most: the end was really surprising. Unguessable. Finally writers who do not take the watchers for dummies.
