Uh, does anyone happen to know if, when I post in a community and make the entry friends only, every member of the community can see it or just the people I have added as friends?
i thought every member/friend of the community could see it? how should member-only communities work otherwise? but i don't know, it's just what i thought without ever even thinking about it.
You mean people you've added as "friends" to your community (as opposed to people who only "watch" the community? First of all I think there are only "members" in communities and not "friends" like in a regular journal. And I believe it's generally the members of the community who can read the f-locked contents. I think merely watching the community just adds it to your f-list without you being member. In which case you shouldn't be able to read what was post f-locked to the community.
Brain's in a knot now. Stupid terminology, it should not be called f-locked but, err, member-locked. Uhm. Have you tried the FAQ section yet?
