That Diorama song is more interesting than I remember Diorama being. What a nice little instrumental coda.

I've never heard of Fridge, but "Cut Up Piano and Xylophone" is pretty cool.

I have one Emiliana Torrini song on an old Jacques Brel covers album (and it's a really good cover). Clearly I should have gone looking for more. I think "Ha Ha" is my favorite song on this mix.

I've always liked Diorama, personally, if for no other reason that even on my less-favourite tracks their lyrics are worth listening to, which is rare enough in synthpop. Not that there's many lyrics in this track. :P

Yeah, "Cut Up Piano and Xylophone" is from the one Fridge album I have, called "Happiness", which is good, more of the same type of sound. Haven't gotten around to checking out their other 2 or 3 albums though.

Was that Jacques Brel cover "If You Go Away"? Yeah, I have that too, it's a damn good version. I only have one of her albums (and she's got 4 or 5, apparently), which is "Me And Armini", obviously recommended. And there's more Emiliana Torrini on my March mix, which is up now.

It was indeed "If You Go Away." Great version of a great song.

I've listened to "Me and Armini" a few times now, and I like it. I've got "Love in a Time of Science" queued up next-- the comments I've read suggest it's drastically different, and my curiosity is piqued.
