Never heard of Legend, but liked that song a fair bit. It kinda channels, what, about 1998? The transition from Prodigy-style electonica to goth-cluby EBM?
This mix is heavy on the grim electonics with horror movie samples. June must have been an unusually terrifying month!
I'll be getting back to my mixes soon, I hope-- I've got a few of them set up, and just need to gather and zip up the files. This semester has gotten away from me. It's flippin' Halloween already?!
Legend are one of my new favourite bands, I *highly* recommend their album "Fearless" from last year, one of my favourite debut albums ever. The members of the band have been around a while in other projects ( I think the singer is mostly from a metal background 0_o), and their sound is already fully formed and very distinctive, but not formulaic at all. You could be right about the 1998 vibe, they also have some tracks with very Depeche Mode style leanings, and the singer was wearing a Sisters t-shirt in one of their promo shoots I think. They seem to be one of the new breed of bands who finally manage to escape the "goth vs industrial/EBM" dichotomy and incorporate both without effort or artifice, and I'm really looking forward to more from them. There will definitely be two or three more of their songs on future mixes

Oh, man, I'm sorry to hear about your dad. I'm nowhere near ready to enter the dying parents phase of life, and I can't even imagine how tough that must be to deal with. I hope you're doing OK.
