If you haven't gained weight, but you're more defined, then you definitely cut fat and added a bit of muscle.
That you're seeing endurance gains isn't all that surprising, you're pushing your body in a way to build endurance (high reps).
If you're on a low/limited carb diet, which you've replaced with fat, then you're probably getting some (or mostly) ketosis going on. That you don't really have energy until you start working out in the morning is not all that surprising, as your body is storing glycogen to give you energy, and is lazy to turn fat/protein into glucose and glycogen until you force it to. Try tossing in some complex carbs via pasta or pizza after a workout, and see how you feel the next couple mornings. The guys who are on constant low carbs claim that 2x weekly complex carbs do wonders for their energy levels.
I'm still consuming carbohydrates. I should emphasize that. I'm just not consuming refined sugars, like...well, table sugar or HFCS. I can't eat pasta or pizza anymore because flour-based products have been wreaking havoc on my digestive tract
