Me, Joshua, my other friends from home, and some random people from the city got forced into a game run by Pi-Face.

I don't know how the hell he managed it, but it was just like back in my world.

And then he... he got Joshua. And the game ended.

How the hell do these deals work, then? I can't imagine what those deities would want, seeing as how, you know, they're already omnipotent and all-knowing or whatever.

Doesn't sound like they make deals because they want anything. More like they just want to take stuff from people. It's not the kind of thing anyone can pay for more than once or twice, though. So unless he made a deal for a permanent Game, it probably won't happen again.

The game isn't permanent, it's already over. I guess everything's... back to normal now.

Yeah. We were all still in the city, sort of, but no one could see us. That's how the game works; it takes place in some weird alternate space. So we were here, but at the same time... we weren't. I don't really get it, myself.
