[Legato may or may not be surprised to find Vash sitting within view of the smithy. Pretending to be acting casual with that bag of donuts he's really only nibbling at, because he's there for a reason.

That reason being you. He hacked that filter and wasn't happy with what he saw behind it. He couldn't ask you outright what you wanted with Winry because he's pretty sure you wouldn't tell him. It would also be better that you don't know he can hack it and it would probably look bad if he started shouting about staying away from her.

So he had come here. He wasn't really sure if you'd show up. What could you possibly want at the smithy? In the end he decided to come anyway to catch Winry when she headed out for lunch and talk to her. Also, to be here just in case you did show up.

[Vash stands for a moment. It'd be better for you to remain with just one arm. How much had losing your arm hurt your powers, Legato?

In the end Vash knows he'd never want to test that. Especially not here. Too many people that could be hurt in the crossfire. Vash knows how long it can take to make a prosthetic arm, so you're not likely to hurt anyone. At least not until it's done, so he finally steps aside.]
