I was wondering if you were interested in doing a few favors for me, when you have the time.

Excellent. I won't be back to town for some time, so your help while I am away will be invaluable.

First, there is a bundle of flowers and a note in an apartment in the sixth housing building-- [jotting down the floor and room number] I would like you to deliver it to the steps of Vash's home, and be sure to do it secretively. I would like it to remain as anonymous as possible.

Really, I thought you would have been in a better mood about the whole thing.

After all, this has all been much more taxing than if you would have let him end it, restoring me a week later.

The thought of you laying around in pain isn't too bad of one. I consider it an extra bonus for all my efforts. All-in-all, I'm not in a bad mood in the least.

[It was true. He'd gotten over saving your creepy ass, and he was even able to tell himself it was a good thing. Vash would've been unbearable to deal with, otherwise...]

I'm glad to hear it. It really wasn't something worth dwelling over.

[he certainly didn't want to think about his part in it anymore than they wanted to think about theirs, after all]

I'm feeling much better, by the way. I think bring forced to rest has done me a lot of good.

[and this is reflected in his voice. He does sound better-- in a good mood himself; more put together]
