It's a permanent position, so I would potentially be there forever. I think the exact date isn't set as they have some other things to work out, but if I was going to do it, I would have a month to a month and a half warning when they have a date set.

Yea, it would be nice to visit first, but I think they want me to decide pretty soon. If it was Berlin, I would do it in a heartbeat.

I think your first $70 grand of income is exempt from U.S. income tax. But it might not be exempt from Belgian income tax. I think they just have VAT there, though.

Yea, i was reading about that. Congress almost repealed that, but there was a big outrage over that, as a lot of people would be able to afford working overseas, so there's a good chance that will stay on the books.

Yea, I'm not sure what taxes are like in Belgium. It would be cool if it was just the VAT.

Hey, yea I thought about writing Suicide Commando, but I'm not sure where in Belgium he lives. Maybe I'll write those Side-Line guys.

Yea, I am leaning towards doing it. Sucks though, I just spent $1500 on DJ equipment which I don't think would work over there with the voltage difference. I think it might be less than 30 days on the mixing board, so maybe I can return it.

isn't there a voltage switch on the power supply?

I don't think so... I'll have to look and see. That would be awesome if there was.

As much as I'd hate that my favorite Atlanta DJ wouldn't be there for me when I returned to town, you gotta do what you think will be best for you - it's one life you got, man. It sounds like an awesome experience.

Yea, I think it could be a lot of fun... I am finding it pretty tough to decide what I want to do. Thanks for your support :)
