I like the maroon, but the blue could definitely be.. some other kind of material that doesn't look like it was painted on.

It's kind of a difficult costume to pull off the comic book page because it has to look like how it looks in the comics or people will freak. Superman's costume is one that can't be fooled around with like Batman's or the X-Men's. Althought, the Spidey suit was pretty well done, they should have worked with the same people who did that one...

Yeah, I think in order for him to not look fruity he needs to be way bigger in the shoulders or something. As for the colors, you can't change the bright red and not change the blue!!!!!!!! Ugly combination. I'd prefer the bright red with it, cause he DOES look fruity.
