My manager is going away for an entire week. It's kind of like when your parents go away and leave you alone in the house, just not quite as fun. I think it's amusing, if not mildly annoying that all of the customers at my work think I'm SO "alternative" and freaky. Some of the business men have crushes on me just because they think I'm bad, or kinky, or whatever. They're right of course, but come on, get to know a girl first!

Yeah, so my wifey reminded me that Live Journal is out there, and then I had the amazing recollection that I have a LJ account from a million years ago. Granted I had to delete about 10 very emo entries that don't need to be seen by the rest of the civilized world! Anyway, I know some of these crazy kids so I guess I'll give this a shot!

It's almost been a year since I've updated this page. I guess there really isn't a whole lot to say about XXX anymore. I don't know if I'll ever be totally over him, but when I look at him, I don't see the same person I used to. I don't feel the same clenching in my chest. I think I may be finally growing up.

September is almost over, and soon the autumn will really be here. This is my favorite time of year by far. The air is cool, and everything seems golden and clean. I've been feeling better these last couple of weeks. Things seem to be coming together more or less. Or maybe it just seems that way at the moment. Either way, I'm feeling better ( Read more... )
