Looks like I need to get to class more often! Went in expecting a Fred class, got a Margaret class (cool!). Once in a blue moon, we actually get to the studio EARLY, yesterday was one of those times. I keep seeing pictures of people doing a few common yoga poses, and so many of them piss me off! It's kind of a petty complaint (or maybe it isn't!), yet I'm starting to understand why so many people don't take yoga seriously. Here are a few examples:

Totally packed, not a spot left in the room yesterday! We barely made it (go figure, the parking lot was ridiculous too)... Margaret was there, and told me to 'get one of those spots up front'. Not sure :) Anyway, went to a Fred class yesterday, I just wish I could record him to play for people who don't get to experience his teaching. The focus and intensity is UNREAL. So good. Went to class with my mom this morning- the rest of the gang didn't want to take a morning class :) We both had dramatically better classes than Friday (helps that we were by the door this time!)... So we're going to classes at the brand-new Redmond studio (Angela- 10 for $10 here, it's dirt cheap!), which has been interesting and good. It's a non-carpeted studio (doesn't stink- we turn toward the side mirror for some of the standing poses to stay on our mats), so it doesn't stink... the owner's on good terms with Bikram, and just didn't say ( Read more... )
