I had to make the switch to friends only too. A friend's wife was snooping into her husband's life, including comments made on other people's journal. It really pissed me off, I do not want to be put in the middle of anything.

I guess what I'm saying is, I'd still like to read your journal, but if you feel the need to rant at anyone I know I'd like to be warned or just screened.

This comment totally went in a different direction then I meant it too...

I have never liked the screening option... I've felt that it kinda defeats the purpose. But I've also always had my Lj open to the world... so I dn't kno if my filter pref will change or not.

Thank you for your sharing, i've been mulling it over since Sept last year... I don't make many quick decision. ( <-- that's me covering up how hard the choice was for me)

Also I way respect your request, both that you made it and its content.

I'm interested - I know I rarely comment but I do read regularly. I also understand if you don't want to friend a non-contributor!

whats kinda funny is I used to be a daily Lj guy. Post. Post Post, Quiz, Pole, Post..... And then years of silence... and I haven't gone deeper then page one on the Friends Page in years....

And over half my Friends list don't comment anymore. Probly because the not posting thing has got me in some filter space titled something like "Lost to the real world" or "Not Deleted, but never here"

Also it's kinda funny cuz we are already Mutual Friends, but I do like that you did comment. :-)
