Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy?
Well, she's taller than Taiga, that's for sure. She's probably just as tall as the average Japanese teenager. Minori is also slender and she is also very fit.

2. How old is she?
She's about 17, just like most of her friends.

3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch?
Minori carries herself quite well and she has pretty good posture, especially when she's out playing softball.

4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities?
Minori is very fit from all those softball games and practices, and because she always uses her energy. And even if she is a glutton when it comes to food, she strives to eat healthy foods occasionally being a diet warrior.

5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid?
Minori is fluid, due to endless softball games and practices. She carries herself well, but she also occasionally trips and all.

6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror?
She's not as pretty as Ami or even Taiga, but she's pretty okay, seeing as how someone fell for her despite her weird nature. Minori doesn't really care much about her appearance. The only time when she talks about her appearance is when she puts on the hairclip Ryuuji supposedly got for her, and she was all, "It's very cute, isn't it? By the way, I'm talking about the hairclip and not about myself."

7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred?
Fair-skinned!

8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style.
Minori has shoulder-length red hair, with her bangs barely covering her eyes. She usually just lets her hair down unless it is really necessary to tie it up.

9. What color are her eyes?
A pretty shade of violet. ♥ This may or may not be one of the reasons why she is awesome. |D

10. Does the character have any other noteworthy features?
Not that I know of, except that she can twist her face into different faces. 8D

11. What are her chief tension centers?
Her eyes, lips, and also her hands!

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit?
Minori likes to dress casually, and sometimes a bit boyishly. If she isn't wearing her school uniform or her softball club uniform, she usually wears comfortable T-shirts, hoodies, sleeveless shirts during the summer, baseball or bonnet caps, shorts, pants, sweatpants, the like! She usually dresses in pastel colors and in colors of red, blue, and green.

13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them?
Yes, and she seems to be very comfortable in everything she wears! \o/

14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences?
lol not really. If she has to wear a uniform for a job, then she'll wear it, no problem. One example is this cute dress-sort-of-thing for when she works in that family restaurant.

HAHAHAHAHA. It. Is. A. Secret. ;)

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse?
Well, Minori's voice definitely isn't deep, but it isn't exactly high-pitched either. I actually can't describe it lmao, so have a look at this and this instead!! THOSE ARE EXAMPLES OF MINORIN'S EPICNESS, I TELL YOU.

2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate?
 It... depends on what she's feeling, I think? She can talk soft but there are times when she talks so fast, you can barely catch up and understand what she's saying. Also, Minori can talk on and on and on and on. Except for when it's heavier stuff though, in which case she watches her words so as not to give herself away.

3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics?
Hm... no distinct accent whatsoever. However, Minori tends to make a lot of sounds when she's doing something in hyper mode; for example, she sometimes goes "Uryaa! Uryaa!" whenever she hits a ball, "Ushushushushushu" when she was all over the place looking for pictures to take from the photography club, among others! One classic example would be this.

4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency?
Japanese! Also, Minori-speak. It is a very unique language. :|

5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations?
Nope... but she can go from Minori-speak to "speaking normally". 8DD

6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words?
Minori's a good impromptu speaker, especially when she makes her weird random genki speeches!! And also when she talks about the deeper and heavier stuff in life, but she tries to watch what she's saying, so as not to let the person she's talking to see what she's really feeling inside.

7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change?
She can be eloquent if she wants to or if it fits the current situation!

Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart?
A bit of both! Minori probably gets good grades, seeing as if she fails or has low grades then she'd have to quit the softball club. But she is also quite street-smart; even if she has her airheaded tendencies, she knows how to deal with different situations and has her own independent state of mind.

2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate?
Again, BOTH. Minori can think well on her feet, but sometimes she needs some time to think before she acts.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical?
Minori is more intuitive, and she is also very perceptive of the people around her. Oh, and she can be very idealistic at times, but is also practical.

4. What kind of education has the character had?
Your normal elementary, middle school, and high school Japanese education.

5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about?
SOFTBAAAALL. She is extremely good at it (except when she's spacing out)!! She's also good at baseball and even commented on how she was better than her brother at it. She is also "very good with her hands", as seen when she can put tiny pieces of gems into a phone, how she throws and aims a ball at someone, tying Taiga's hair and making her look like a "cute mouse" among others. OH AND HER GENKI POWER. NEVER EVER FORGET THAT.

6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert?
VERY EXTROVERTED. Minori is very friendly and very social, and she's also very outgoing. She talks to people easily, and is alwaays lively and energetic. However, even if Minori is like this on the outside, it doesn't always mean that she's feeling the same on the inside. Minori is the type of person who can laugh and smile even if inside, she feels like crying and is on the verge of breaking down. She sometimes uses her extroverted personality as a front to hide all the negative feelings and weaknesses that she holds inside. Only a very few has actually seen through Minori.

7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven?
Minori is very cheerful, almost always seen with a smile on her face, and has boundless amounts of energy. But again, even if she is like this, it doesn't mean that inside she is feeling the same way. She may be battling with lots of emotions inside while keeping a very cheerful face.

8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic?
AGAIN and AGAIN, the thing with Minori is, even if she acts really enthusiastic, you never know what she's truly feeling inside. As seen in the series, she tries to blow away her weakness and her being scared by acting all genki and singing out random songs. If she feels uncomfortable or nervous in a new situation, she will do her best to act all lively and energetic to hopefully get rid of all the negative feelings and so that no one will see that she's actually feeling terrified, insecure, and anxious. Although when it comes to new people, Minori is always genuinely enthusiastic and friendly.

9. Is she more likely to act, or to react?
Both, actually. Minori acts when she avoids Ryuuji because she feels guilty about liking him back in spite of the fact that she knows Taiga loves and needs Ryuuji, and Minori reacted when she hears Ryuuji outright lie to Taiga about who saved her during the ski trip.

10. Which is her default: fight or flight?
Fight. Minori will never run away if she can help it, especially if it's for her friends.

11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks?
Minori has a very good sense of humor, and is almost always making up jokes, making fun of herself, and teasing her friends.

12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them?
LOL NO, she doesn't have any. But she probably bumped her head when she was little, resulting in her bubbly, hyperactive, lively attitude!

13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person?
I'd have to say, meeting both Taiga and Ryuuji. Taiga has become so very dear to Minori's heart and she treasures her best friend so much, to the point that...
- When Minori first met Taiga's father, she did her best to support Taiga into reconnecting with her father, but when that bastard old man fails his daughter, Minori blames it all on herself. She believes that she's failed Taiga and that she's failed as a best friend, and she becomes so hard on herself that she hasn't visited Taiga's place since freshman year. This is why she praises Ryuuji for doing such a good work with Taiga and continuing to visit her home even if he also failed.
- She felt so guilty when she liked Ryuuji back, despite knowing that Taiga needed him and wanted him to stay by her side. Her feelings of guilt has been so deep and she continued to hide all these feelings inside her, and she even avoided him and rejected him before he could confess. This causes her to space out on numerous times, and makes her have a little emotional breakdown.

Oh, and when she first fell in love with baseball, and then later, softball! Minori often played baseball with her brother and she was very good at it. But because girls couldn't keep on playing baseball, she decided to pursue softball instead. She became very good at it and it easily became one of her passions, so now she works a lot of jobs so she can save money, enter into a sports university and then enter into the Japan national women softball league.

14. What does she fear?
Minori's biggest fears are losing her friends, failing them and losing sight of the things that she can see. She's also very afraid of failing herself and others.

15. What are her hopes or aspirations?
Minori wants to get into a sports university with the money she save from working part-time at all of her jobs, and then become a professional athlete and aim for the national softball league. Then she will shout to the world:"This is the happiness that I chose and achieved!" She wants to be able to achieve happiness by her own hands, and she also wants to see those things that she can't see, someday-- love, being one of them. Oh, and she wants to go find UFOs too. |D

16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her?
Minori doesn't want her friends to find out that behind that genki attitude lies someone who actually has lots of weaknesses and insecurities, and that she is actually very introspective and thinks about the heavier stuff in life. After she had that deep talk with Ryuuji about ghosts and the things she can't see, when she felt she got too serious, she immediately began acting all genki again and even asked him not to tell anyone about the conversation they had.

Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents.
Minori... probably isn't that close with her parents. The only time she's ever mentioned them is to comment on how they're always out working. That's it. :|

2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like?
Minori has a younger brother who's only a year younger than her. From the way she speaks of him, it seems as if they're really close, though we never get to see them together. Their parents are always out working, so Minori is the one who fixes lunches for her brother and takes care of him. From what she said, it seems as if they often play baseball together if she isn't busy with other things.

3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand?
No other known blood relatives!

4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them?
Of course! There's Taiga, Ami, Kitamura, and Ryuuji. She's very close friends to all of them and loves them all A LOOT. \o/

5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet?
Taiga. TAIGA TAIGA TAIGA!!! TAIGA TO THE NTH LEVEL. Taiga is her "most precious friend ever". ♥♥♥ And craaaap. I wish the series explained how Taiga and Minori met but it never told us anything. T_T

6. Does she have other close friends?
Yes! Ami-chan, Kitamura-kun, and Ryuuji! Amin is that mature, always beautiful girl who understands Minori the most-- she's gotten into the most fights with Ami, but it's only made their relationship stronger. Kitamura is her partner-in-crime-and-mischief since they're both so crazy and all, plus he's also her co-baseball and softball friend. Ryuuji is... Ryuuji, the guy she once liked and the only person she trusts to take care of Taiga in place of her.

7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people?
VERY VERY VEEERY EASILY. Minori is one of the first few friends of Ryuuji and Taiga, despite how almost everyone was terrified of Ryuuji because of his "murderous eyes" and of Taiga's violent nature. This speaks thousands, doesn't it?

8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends?
HER FRIENDS ARE ALSO HER FAMILY. HA. HA. ....both.

9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once? 
SINGLE. Oh, wait. Minori is married to her baseball bat.

10. Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse?
UWAHAHAHAHA WHAT.

11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest?
Her first crush is probably Ryuuji Takasu. She also said that she's liked him since the beginning. Latest? No idea. She's pretty focused on softball and getting into a sports university at the moment.

12. What does she look for in a romantic partner?
Minori looks for someone who truly understands her; who can see her for who she is behind all her genki-ness and all her liveliness. She's not the type of person who looks just at the physical appearance. The reason Minori liked Ryuuji in the first place, besides being really kind, caring, and patient was because he could understand her. Maybe not a lot, but he was far ahead from most of her other friends besides Ami. She told him that she thought he was really nice and she liked how he "didn't laugh at her when she made her weird speeches" and he also understood her when she was having her conversation about "seeing ghosts", among other. Ryuuji saw Minori for who she was, and that's what Minori wants.

13. Does the character have children? Grandchildren? If yes, how does she relate to them? If no, does she want any?
LOLOL NONE. Although Minori sometimes treats Taiga as her child, I don't think that counts. |D;

14. Does she have any rivals or enemies?
MINORI IS FRIENDS WITH EVERYONE. \o/

15. What is the character's sexual orientation? Where does she fall on the Kinsey scale?
Minori is most definitely a 0 or 1, I think. She wants to get married in the future, and she obviously fell in love with Ryuuji, blushing and all when she takes his hand, and smiling to herself when she hears him say that he'll take the picture of them together and how he always watches her; but in one of the episodes, she also asks him if she's lesbian lmao, because of how much Taiga means to her and how much she cares for her best friend. Ryuuji then responds "I don't think you are.." [read: I HOPE YOU AREN'T], and Minori responds and tells him "You're probably right." LMAO AWKWARD CONVERSATION RIGHT THERE.

16. How does she feel about sex? How important is it to her?
Minori has a lot of things on her mind, even if it seems that she's only out being her weird, random self. Sex is the least of them, though Minori probably believes that it is something she should only have with someone she would love truly.

17. What are her turn-ons? Turn-offs? Weird bedroom habits?
SHE PROBABLY MOVES A LOT WHEN SHE SLEEPS. IDK DOES THAT COUNT.

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does she fit type?
SADLY, MINORIN HAS NO BIRTHDAY. ;A; At least, I don't know when it is, sob. 8'( I CAN NEVER CELEBRATE IT SOBSS.

2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life?
She's probably as religious as the average Japanese, idk.

3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it?
Something along the lines of "Do not make judgements and assumptions about people before getting to know them" and she has been really true to this, as seen with her friendships with Ryuuji, Taiga, and Ami. Also, "Be kind, be forgiving and hope for the same from others. Stand up for your friends and always support them in whatever they want to do (even if it is occasionally stupid) and set them back on track if they ever get lost." Yes, I know I made that up, but I believe it fits so well with Minori. |D

4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent?
She respects the beliefs of others, and expects them to do the same to her beliefs. However, if the other's belief is something totally way out of line or something, take for example, Taiga's belief that Minori and Ryuuji should be together, she will go out of her way to correct her and let her see the truth.

5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them?
Minorin probably doesn't hold any prejudice of any sort. :|

Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt?
Minori is from a middle-class family. She lives in a normal, western house and she has said that her parents are always out working.

2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her?
Average High School student and Softball Captain. She's also known as the weird and odd one in her group of friends.

3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others?
Minori lives in a normal-sized house in the city; enough for her, her parents, and her younger brother. It looks okay, it isn't shabby, and it isn't grand-looking either. Just one of the normal western houses you see in Japan.

4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on?
Softball gears and equipment, sweets, and the like!

5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else?
Minori does A WHOLE LOT OF THINGS FOR A LIVING. She's a mobile phone stylist, works part-time as a waitress at a family restaurant and a ramen shop, a clerk at a convenience store, a steam boat store, a wine store and a karaoke box-- ALL AT THE SAME TIME. You have to ask how she can work at all of those jobs with so much energy, besides her softball club activities and her duties as a student. Well, granted her jobs are all part-time, but still. And she does all of these things too with so much energy and with a happy smile on her face. Minori enjoys all her jobs because she loves keeping herself busy.

6. What are her interests or hobbies? How does she spend her free time?
SOFTBALL. \o/ During her free time, softball practice! Also hanging out with her friends, playing baseball with her brother, watching television, and making up and creating random things (her "cute radar", a bucket of pudding, "Yu-Gi-Oh cards", the like!)

7. What are her eating habits? Does she skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods?
Minori eats-- A LOT!! She's a huge glutton when it comes to food. She even made a whole bucket of pudding and ate everything herself. BUT! Minori is also a diet warrior and is constantly combating with dieting. If she can help it, she'll try her best to go eat low-calorie foods once in a while.

4. Season? Spring. Mostly because of this! The personality section fits Minori SO WELL. ;o; "...They are light on their feet and have an indefinable quality of lightness to their being. Lively, vivacious, effervescent and impulsive, the spring personality has a great deal of charm. They may have lots of fresh ideas but could have too many projects going at once. They make friends easily are positive and have natural energy. The challenge for the spring personality is single-mindedness; they have the gift of attending to many things simultaneously."
