I just woke up to a phone call, thank God I answered it... I usually screen calls and I thought "sheesh, what if?" and it was. Anyway, he sounds good, said they're moving to where they'll be permanently and hopes he'll be able to keep in contact with everyone. I'm so glad I checked your journal today. I hadn't heard anything for awhile, of course any amount of time right now feels like a while. We've never met. You've met my son, Brian, when you've been to Olivia. It's just so good to know whenever Chris has been in touch with anyone. Molly should be home today! I bet she and Darlene had fun in DC.

You are in my thoughts. We are all on our own individual journey through this but with a common thread (does that make sense?). Since Chris loves you, it means you are kind of stuck with me too :) Hope you are having a good week!

I finally got my phone call too! I was at the airport in DC waiting to come home and like you, didn't really recognize the number so am glad I answered it! He sounded good but ambiguous which I understand. I think I cried the entire time - not sad, just glad he's there and OK! I'm such a mom....I, too, wish I could record.
