Over two weeks since I've heard from Chris, and I think it's been that long since I've heard anything about him either. Every day I don't hear anything I just want to go back to bed, and if I don't have to go to class, I usually do. Then I don't want to go to bed until late because it just means when I wake up another day has gone by

My Mom talked to him yesterday- he was going to get "stuff" for their office, like a coffee pot.

And for some reason, he's taken a liking to white chocolate-chip macadamia nut cookies. I dunno.

And he has Wednesdays off. :)

I should have emailed or called you, I'm sorry! Yes, Chris called me on Sunday :) and sounded good. The temp has been around 100 degrees but he's inside quite a bit. He and several others have quite a large "office" so they can't complain. Things should get really busy for him this week. He got my first package - his down pillow so was happy! Tried calling you earlier in the week but must have had your number wrong. I think he transposed numbers or something. They have a rather large PX on the base but it is poorly stocked so will give me a list sometime of things he can't get. Is glad he is with his 3 friends from Ft. Lewis. Talked random stuff - Tim and my moving to the farm, Molly's day off, updates on the cousins, etc. He has to wear his uniform all the time because he's on base most of the time!I'll share whenever I hear from him - I just assumed he was calling you too.

Yes, he wants Macadamia cookies and Toto wants ginger!! Now I have to find a recipe for macadamia nut cookies!!!

Thanks, I was getting really worried! I'd think that sugar cookie or chocolate chip cookie dough with macadamia nuts and white chocolate would work well. But there are probably tons of recipes out there.
Thanks for the info, I'm happy as long as I know he's okay and have a few tidbits to chew on.
