SKETCHAVEMBER 2010

However, not all of us are prolific writers; comic book makers, or can keep the promise of some of the steeper challenges this month has to offer.
Sketchavember is a modest and personal yet limitless celebration of creativity that continues throughout the entire month of November. Commit to celebrate yours as well as others' creativity by sharing a little something of your own making each day. Commit only to try and create something each day-no matter how small or amateurish; open yourself to produce anything.
It may be a stick-figure joke scribbled on a napkin, warm-up doodles in order tog et the will to draw at all, or an eight-hour painted professional illustration. Share your best work and your worst. Make it small scale or large scale. Don't let 'talent' or medium hold you back -draw, paint, write, design, compose; anything goes. Bring out your sketchbooks during dark and dreary November and join in on celebrating how IT IS GREAT TO CREATE!
This project is something
croaky created while fighting the blues two years ago. It sounds like both an inspirational and fun exercise! Enough so to make it a tradition. And of course: the more the merrier! Art is like a smile: it's meant to be contagious.
Anyone else wanna do this with me? Repost, reblog and start sketching!
I got enough candy Trick or Treating tonight to keep myself going this whole month for sketching! But I gotta be careful because I still want to fit into my bridesmaid dress for my lil' sisters wedding December 4th! Hahaha!
