Sketchavember - November 3rd
Today's Sketchavember brings a whole new level of cute!
I found a bunch of sketches I did of some birds a few years ago when I was working at eBay. I told myself that I suck at drawing animals and wanted to practice something, so I looked up some birds and drew away. I really love the puffy, fat, adorable birds.
So there's a cockatiel and a barn owl/snowy owl I think? The weird cartoony thing is Freakazoid, a strange parrot character my friend and I made up in Grade 7 for a series of horrible pirate comics that are now lost to the world. I adopted him back into my comic I made in highschool which I will NEVER speak of, so I wanted to draw him because he's weird. Then there's a couple of random finches or canaries, and then there is the retarded Cardinal on the bottom. I don't know why I wanted to play around with the idea of a retarded Cardinal, but I thought if one just fell over and smacked its head, it'd be hilarious. Donk!
