Okay,
So it looks as if I only prod livejournal when I need something...
And it's true! :)
I'm wondering if anyone can help me out. So you may or may not be aware I've been spending a lot of time writing. And low, after a long time writing, and a little time staring at my creation, I have decided to give it life. Yay! So I have people interested in audition for roles (I have some people actually down for parts - note to self: get their signatures, so they cannot back out!)
But what I need is help with a location (again!)
This time I am looking for a house that I can use for a weeks filming. 3 bedroom house, or something I can fake reasonably easily to look like a 3 bedroom house. The thing is that the story revolves around people moving out of the house (which is rented), so I need a place that has some furnishings, but no pictures, TV etc.
Seeing as I cannot pay money, I can help out with other things. I can do eternal gratitude, but I can help out with other things. Painting, Moving, and stuff like that... but I'd much prefer eternal gratitude. :)
Anyone know any kindly landlords?
Anyone have a second house that they don't need for a week?
Close to Dublin would be a help too - seeing as most of the crew are fresh out of college, or are like me - in both cases that means no money. Public transport all the way.
If anyone can lend a hand or an idea, I would be hugely appreciative.

So I suppose I should do something proper with my posting time.
I've been mainly writing, there has been little along the lines with the acting malarky - and to tell the truth, it's getting to me. However, I do have headshots to come to me, so that will help. I'll be able to get my face out again. This year I will do it properly! And actually make the required phone calls to make sure people remember me.
The Take is coming up shortly on sky - Hopefully I'll get a bit more face time than I did with the Tudors. That was a little bit gutting for me! Two scenes cut, and then the big scene that was left in - I've sod all to show for it. (As in I cannot really use it for a showreel - nuts!) But hopefully the Take will have something I can use, and Father and Son will be on screen later in the year.
What else has there been? Not much.
Training really. I got my Rapier & Dagger, and Unarmed combat certification about 2 weeks ago. And I'll be starting the sword and shield training on Saturday. Expensive, but I'm looking forward to it.
And that's been it really. Train, look for work, do my day job, train, look for work... and so on and so on.
I've been letting livejournal fall by the wayside a little bit because it could be perceived as so much effort! I mean with Facebook or Bebo you make some random one-liner updates, do some quizzes, get spammed and everyone knows your okay. Then Twitter comes along and does away with all the quizzes and makes you update your life in five words or less.
Sod that! I'm waiting for the site that automatically fills in your status as 1. Then you have to change the status yourself to 0 when the time comes - therefore letting everyone know you have died. Bite size chunks of life, already prechewed, and partially digested - that's how I want my social networking sites.
But I'll do my best to keep in touch with LJ so as not to let it fall by the wayside.
