Thank you very much. The challenge this week almost caught me, but I finally managed to figure out how to meet the prompt and still have something to say - LOL. I appreciate your reading and would appreciate your vote after Tuesday when voting begins.

Thanks. It was a challenge to do a scene in nothing but dialog, but it was a fun challenge. And, you got a bit of personal history along with it - not too recent to be a problem, just ancient history in the life of Erulisse - LOL.

Thanks. I had a tough time figuring out the direction to take with the prompt, but once I started on this tack, it worked very smoothly.

Now I'm very curious where you went to school. I graduated in '71 in LA (California.) I remember the first Earth Day. Do you remember how everybody brought hand-painted lunch boxes to school to support Earth Day? We had the same stupid dress code. One day they let the girls wear pants but ALLEGEDLY one girl wore jeans (Nobody I know has any idea who it was; we suspect it was a rumor created by the administration) and then that was the end of that experiment. I didn't smoke but I did vote for Shirley Chisholm in the first election 18 year olds could vote in.
