I guess the reason people don't like the picture is because the biscuit is so pale, but that's how biscuits look. The idea of a nice savory burger on a fresh home-baked bisuit though, that's tasty! :)

I see. Yeah, biscuits aren't supposed to get as dark as a bread bun when baked in the oven. They're not made of yeast. When biscuits are baked as dark as bread, then they're over baked in my opinion and often dried out. The biscuits that I know of that are that dark and not overcooked on the inside are the ones you fry.
