Kaylee ran back to her room after the strange incident in the park and had been there ever since. She still didn't feel safe, though. She was very tired and unwilling to move. She had a blanket wrapped around her, but the cold still lingered. Nothing seemed to make it go away

After his conversation with Pippi, Alphonse left to go see if he could find anyone he knew. He wasn't sure where his other roommates would be at, but glancing down the hallway he remembered there were others, too. So he found himself at Kaylee's door, almost wishing it were open first. "Kaylee, are you in there?" he called; normally, he would knock first, but that didn't seem to be an option.

Kaylee walked over to the door. It sounded like Alphonse, but she wanted to make sure. "That really you, Al?"

Kaylee went to open the door, but her hand seemed to go right through the doorknob. "Huh?"

She tried again and the same thing happened. She was too frustrated to try concentrating on opening it. "I...can't seem to open the door."
