The academic year is divided into three terms:
Michaelmas term (9 weeks, October - December);
Hilary term (9 weeks, January - March);
Trinity term (6 weeks, April - May).
Examinations follow one week after the end of Trinity term and continue for approximately four weeks.

I finally received some correspondence from Trinity College yesterday. I'm guaranteed a place in two classes: Elementary Irish (Gaelic) and Early Irish Literature and Language.
