For those of you who might wish to know, my lovely girlfriend now has an LJ presence, under the moniker shadowkat_69. I'm sure she would welcome additions to her friends list, because otherwise it would be like talking to herself.

Well, the story didn't end with the last post. When I got my rejection letter, there was a form asking for my permission to keep my CV on file in case similar posts arose in the future. I though this was simply a formality, but no, I now have another interview next Tuesday for the position of Information Assistant. So that's good news.

... I didn't get the BBC job. I guess I knew that would be the case.

How many times have I heard the mantra 'Always Read the Question'? Yet I walk into this BBC interview, get given a dead easy computing test, and completely ignore the fact that they want averages for BBC1 only, not all channels. Well today, finally, I finish my job in the crazy world of media. Six and a half hours to go. Well, the road trip was an unmitigated success. After a bit of hassle getting the car, we set of for Exeter, stopping at Yeovil for a bite to eat. Having lived in Yeovil for a short while, Soph soon bumped in to some people she knew, which made for a more sociable stop over.
