Maxis Taste Dare 007 - Veronaville Asylum (Week 1)

Ahhh... The idyllic town of Veronaville. Where the deer play and the clouds are extra fluffy...
Titania decided that she could no longer ignore the two bolts she has for Kent. She should have waited until her fiance was out of the room at least.
I'm having flashbacks to the Darcies, where Amelia got struck by lightning after Alana woo hooed Booster.
That's Oberon, by the way. He got struck on the playground.
Patrizio's face got stuck like that.
I don't know who knocked over the garbage bin but it resulted in roaches!
Patrizio, the secondary aspiration Grilled Cheese Freak, helps out by fulfilling a bunch of his wants and feeding the hungry masses.
Kent reached level 3 body skill and got buff. It's now yoga time!
Albany: My wife's future sister-in-law is blocking my view of my wife getting her ass handed to her!
This pretty much summarises Goneril's entire time in the Asylum (past and future): being followed around by these two and getting poked, shoved and ass smacked by one or the other.
Titania stayed quiet for a while. Cheating on her fiance by looking at another man bought her about 48 hours of not being pawed by Oberon so she could do things other than lip-lock with him.
Kent met a doggy!
He didn't get nibbled but they are friends so I'm hoping for a future nibble.
Do bald sims suddenly grow hair when they turn? This burning question MUST be investigated!
Kent decided to move the peace talks into the hot tub. He is now friends with both of these two and no longer gets attacked. Right now, his sister is the only victim in the Asylum.
Old Man Capp: I'll steal their newspaper! They won't be able to make paper airplanes or do the crossword! This idea is pure gold! Or butter! Or something!
(In case anyone is wondering, a few months back I was reading a legacy where the poster kept saying that the gold brick was butter, so this is a reference to that)

Why yes, I do have ACR! Why do you ask?
No Lot Full Of Sims, though. The ACR is the only cheat that affects stuff that's not just QOL - this one is being played for points!
Bianca broke the piano and got a lecture from Kent. That's no way to get a lady to ACR you, buddy!
The piano is still broken at the end of week 1, BTW. I got Kent to study mechanical but then forgot to fix it.
They still tinkle the ivories. I play with the sound off. It's all win :)

Albany apparently heard that this was the last spot where a picture was snapped.
Another Goneril ass-handing. I don't even bother to take pictures of ALL the fights, poking and shoving. If I did, the whole update would consist of poke, shove, dust cloud, preen, preen, poke, shove, poke, dust cloud, preen, preen, etc etc ad neauseam.
And just for the record - I spelled that right the first time!
Goneril is increasingly starting to withdraw and becoming somewhat OCD. She has me worried a bit.
The garden looked like a dog's breakfast so I had to make Kent tidy it up a little. He lost valuable study time, making me wish I hadn't put them in a house with quite so much NATURE! It's still a great house and very playable (if you can hire a gardener!). I highly recommend it - beatdoc16 's The Quinn. I'm thinking this may just end up being my generation 2 Darcy legacy house when I start that up again.

Patrizio got his face stuck again. You shouldn't have been picking on Goneril - I'm guessing that's the result of him reacting to her poking him back after he went looking for her.

I guess she's forgiven him for the lecture.

Titania: Oh, God! I think I just heard all of Patrizio's bones snap! That sounded so... organic!

Kent attempts to host peace talks in the hot tub again. And we see the return of "pure butter!". Isabella stopped traumatising Goneril afterwards, so that's one small step forward, I suppose.
Hmmm... Could it be?
I guess he's forgiven her for thinking about another man.

Yoga isn't quite as relaxing as Kent had hoped it would be.
Titania checks her teeth (right after checking out Kent's tight buns) while Kent gets a face-full of toilet water.
I had loads of better pics - with Kent sticking out his butt while Titania steals surreptitious glances at it. Because she just had to check herself out, in her underwear, while he was unblocking the toilet with his ass in the air.
I know this is awfully anthropomorphic of me and all that but I swear Maxis seem to have programmed perviness into some of these sims! Forget the accidental "looking at the boobs" picture taken opportunistically when a male sim is looking at the weather and it just so happens there's a female in front of him. Titania actually followed Kent into the bathroom and the whole time he was bent over and grunting away, she kept looking at his ass, checking her teeth, looking at his ass, checking her teeth, etc.
Stop it. Or at least slow down, soldier! You keep preening at this rate, I'm going to stop taking pictures of you!
Kent and Bianca are back in the land of ACR.

If this were a legacy, Goneril would be in the lead for heir based on the number of crazy faces she pulls per update.
Oh, look! And her entourage are here, too. Albany, who decided he just didn't have enough screen time and wanted to smooch up to his wife yet again, and Patrizio and Bianca, who obviously haven't handed out enough whoop ass today.

Since making friends with Kent and Goneril, Isabella has actually turned into a rather sweet old lady. She's kind of quiet and swims and plays the piano a lot, hence the lack of pics of her. She really loves the pool.
I seem to have a thing for night-time pool shots!
Albany decided that since nobody but his wife will interact with him, it was time to make his own friends.
Meet Bailey. We probably won't be seeing Bailey again because he's (she???) a stray and quite possibly won't be returning to the lot ever again.
Kent is definitely getting better at the whole yoga thing.

And that's the end of week 1. Kent earns a gnome for making it thus far. It's in an enclosure so it can't get stolen and put my week count off.
