Welcome back to the Ring Legacy!
This legacy is part of
NLC3 at Sims2Supernova.
Molly seems very happy to have married The One. They're definitely still in the honeymoon phase, though it's more Molly than The One autonomously initiating romantic interactions.
Molly is doing very well at her job in politics. Though from snippets I've read around the place she's going to need to host a bunch of parties and rallies and I have no idea how to do that so climbing this career ladder will be a learning experience for both of us.
Molly promptly learns other stuff. And gets placed on enforced maternity leave.
Now that she can't do much, she kind of hangs out around the place, in a great mood because she's enjoying being outdoors.
Though Pirate's guitar-playing skills could use some improvement...
Luckily, she can still fulfil Opportunities, so she heads off to run a class at the business career building.
And reads bodice-rippers since there isn't much else for her to do.
Molly: I never knew being pregnant could feel so good.
That's because you were blessed with just one bout of morning sickness.
The One: Hello? Little One? Can you hear me?
And just how am I supposed to get those, since they're all the way in France? And this family doesn't have enough money to travel?
The little garden flourishes under the careful care of the outdoors-loving Molly.
The television shows TS2 shows! This is the kids' channel.
It was enough to bring on Molly's contractions.
A tourist from Egypt was hanging around outside, complaining that she couldn't attend the birth.
Sorry, lady, this is a family-and-doctors-plus-midwives-only event.
The One left work early and arrived just as the tourist lady burst into song.
Umm... She's kind of mid-birth but if you insist...
Molly and The One emerge with twins just as the tourist reaches the final strains of yet another mournful ditty.
Meet Moebius and Solar.
Solar on the left, Moebius on the right. Welcome home, boys!
Molly does the family-oriented sim thing and autonomously plays with the babies.
The One: I'm digging up dirt on the residents for an article. Want to make something of it? *scowl*
Carry on, then.
The One decided to interview the residents of the house. But Verity (by bondchick_nett) wasn't willing to co-operate.
Jemima Carter (nee Lang) was more forthcoming, though.
Molly: It's crying. What am I supposed to do with it?
I dunno. You're the family-oriented sim. Care for it. Or something.
Repair Lady: So... Not enough handiness skill between the lot of you not to get fried when fixing stuff? *twirls spanner*
Turns out both the computer and the TV were broken. Must have been all the kids programs and novel writing that did them in.
Repair Lady: I HAET TELEVISIONS! *roars* I can do a rather convincing impression of the MGM lion, though.
Repair Lady: Damn computers. Breaking all the time. This is one of those WinDoze machines, that BSODs all the time. *dissolves into unintelligible muttering*
The One: So I just change the nappy, cuddle and feed?
Yes, you do that <3
Oooh! Pirate got married!
The One keeps wanting to work out but they can't afford any workout equipment. So stereo it is.
The One: When I become a famous author I will have enough money to buy all the workout machines in the world.
You keep telling yourself that. For now, you're a second rate journalist who digs through people's trash.
According to the newspaper my self-sim got married in a quiet ceremony.
Pirate's wedding was a bit more ostentatious, though.
Ack! I hope she didn't move out of the hood!
This pretty young thing appears to have misplaced her skirt/pants...
The One scores another interview, though, so it's all good.
Ooooh! My Veronica appears to have had a baby! So I sent The One to investigate. Because that's what reporters do. They investigate stuff.
It's a boy and his name is Gordon!
Luckily my self-sim didn't move out of the hood so I got Molly to make friends so I could follow her home.
In a totally not stalker-ish way at all.
You're a baby and you have barely left your crib. How do you even know that woman? How do the BOTH of you know her? Was she the doctor or midwife? I have no idea.
That can't be good for the baby.
Molly: It keeps them quiet, though!
Right...
It was the twins' birthday so they invited over the mystery lady, who didn't look at all happy to there. At least she brought food!
And then she left, while the other 3 guests ignored the party, with the men getting down to the stereo and Jemima watching TV.
And then they all left before the first candle got blown out.
And they stole the baseball and football I had put out on the grass for everyone to play with.
Thanks a lot!
So they blew out the candles alone.
Moebius: I will eat the world.
Moebius: Starting with this here red block.
Solar: No idea what he's talking about.
Solar: Why would he want to eat the red block. Yellow is so much more palatable.
Moebius: Watch and learn brother. We'll start you off slowly, with the green block, and then you can work your way up to the blue block. And then the ultimate RED!
See you next time!
